The Cemetery Administration is looking for a new employee for the crematorium, which belongs to the Cemetery Administration of the Church of Sweden in Trollhättan.

The operation includes two cemeteries; Götalunden Cemetery and Håjum Cemetery, where the crematorium operations are also located.

As a crematorium caretaker, you work in an important societal function together with a team. You have a great responsibility for the operation, maintenance of the crematorium facility, as well as receiving and handling remains from deceased persons in the cremation and burial process. You also perform chapel services and cleaning.

Included job responsibilities

You work with cremations and maintenance of technical and mechanical equipment. The facility is modern and consists of new technology in an older building, therefore both older and newer technical knowledge is needed. In this position, which involves governmental authority, there is administrative work where control and accuracy are crucial for good and safe work.

Job requirements

You have a 3-year technical high school education with a focus on control and regulation technology and/or knowledge of combustion and smoke processes or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and you master English in both speech and writing.

You have good knowledge of and work easily in modern data and mobile environments. You are well acquainted with the Office package.

You have experience in service work and administration.

Meritorious

• Experience in the funeral sector.
• Crematorium technology I and II.
• Other language skills.

Employment conditions

Permanent employment with start date as agreed. Trial work and probationary employment are applied.
